How to play
- The game starts with a number of crosses. Each cross has free ends, shown as small rings: four in the classic game.
- On your turn, drag a line from one free end to another. Both ends may belong to the same cross.
- Your line may not cross any other line or pass through a cross.
- A new cross appears on your line. It has the same number of arms as the others: two are your line, and the rest become new free ends split between the two sides. If one is left over, it goes on your left as you draw.
- Players take turns. Whoever makes the last move wins.
Choose Move crosses to drag any cross to a new spot. Its lines bend to follow, but never through another line. In this mode, tap a cross with no lines yet to change its number of arms. Tidy up smooths every line into a gentle curve. Neither changes which free ends can still be joined.
Play several games with the classic four arms, using 1, 2 and 3 crosses, and compare the move counts in Finished games. Can you predict the winner before the first move? Then try 3 arms, and 5. What changes?
